Dr. Belvedere makes successful contact with Alfie and Ceila, and uses sign language to communicate with the Velociraptors. After BioSyn's helicopter attacks Muldoon and his team, Muldoon takes on and destroys Dr. Belvedere's BioSyn protectors. Unfortunately, in all the chaos Muldoon's radio is broken. Dr. Fischer takes over where the other BioSyn representatives left off and reveals himself as a representative for Biosyn and wishes to aide them in building their own "Jurassic Park," starting with using Alfie and Ceila as part of the main attractions.

Alfie and Ceila nest and create a new generation of Velociraptors. Malcolm suffers from a fever and, with aide from an Amazonian tribe, is allowed to rest while Ellie watches over him. Dr. Grant and Robert Muldoon venture further into the jungle to search for a radio. InGen dispatches a team of helicopters to find Muldoon and his missing team and discover Biosyn's new "Jurassic Park," and all but one of the InGen choppers are subsequently destroyed.

The Velociraptors find a way to free themselves and kill Fischer and Belvedere as well as other BioSyn employees. Alfie, Ceila, and their infants head off into the jungle, never to be found.
