Jurassic Park Sega Genesis

Developer: BlueSky Software
Publisher: Sega of America, Inc.
Distributor: Electro Source
Origin: United States
Released: March 4, 1994
Genre: Action
Control Elements: Gamepad
Platform: Sega Genesis
ESRB Rating: Everyone, for Mild Animated Violence.

Released in the United States, Jurassic Park for Sega Genesis is set as a central 2-dimensional action side-scroller. As the player you are able to take control of Dr. Alan Grant. Equip yourself with a variety of tranquilizer guns and sedative gas grenades and shoot your way across InGen’s feral dinosaur preserve in an attempt to live through the heart wrenching race for survival. Or play as one of the most terrifying animals in prehistory, a velociraptor. Armed with your razor sharp claws and swiftness you’ll be able to hunt the renowned paleontologist throughout the tropical island.

Jurassic Park sports multiple levels, all varying in difficulty and a wide variety of dinosaurs, including the enormous Tyrannosaurus Rex and Brachiosaurus. Unfortunately, the game uses only one type of control element, which is your game pad. Nevertheless it is doubtful you’ll find this adventure extinct to begin with.
