That usually just doesn't log you in automatically... But your password would still be saved next time you type your username in.

There is another thing you could try though...

Log out, and then go to the login page.
Clear the username box, then start typing your username... If your username appears in a drop down box type thing below... Put your mouse over it (but don't click!) and then press the delete key on your keyboard.

If that makes any sense.
