First look at the Jurassic World Hybrids line!

Date: Tuesday, December 1, 2015 - 15:47 (Eastern)
Author: DinoReviews101

Hey guys,

JPToys Forum member "Starsteam" recently shared a photo that appeared to be our first look at the Jurassic World Hybrids toy/merchandise line. View the image below.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It appears this is real (and shows a modified Indominus Rex from the Ludia game which is the main focus of the new line), but there's always a chance it could be false. It seems to be the front image of the sticker pack. More information will be provided once received, so stay tuned!

UPDATE 1: The photo comes directly from Amazon.com, which means it is most likely official! A similar item is due for release May 2016.

New Mondo Jurassic Park Prints by Joel Davis available soon!

Date: Saturday, November 28, 2015 - 14:46 (Eastern)
Author: DinoReviews101

Hey guys,

Artist Joel Davis has made new Jurassic Park inspired prints! Davis has made 2 licensed prints (and possibly more on the way) for Mondo! The first one (click here to view) is of a Velociraptor. It shows the skeleton of a Velociraptor along with some species information. An InGen logo is present on top, as Davis is trying to make these feel like they were research papers by InGen. This print is sized 11x17. The second print is of the Indominus Rex (see above). This layout of this print is similar to the Velociraptor (as it details the abilities and DNA of the Indominus Rex). The official Masrani and InGen logos are present at the bottom right corner. This print is sized 18x24. Sources tell us these prints will be available at "Miami Supercon" this weekend, but this information is most likely wrong. There is no current "Miami Supercon" known to exist (or at least by that name). Current prices are unknown.

Before you get worried that these prints may be canon to the Jurassic Park film series, we can assure you that they are not. Consider these about as canon as Mark Englert's Jurassic World print from San Diego Comic Con last year. More information will be provided as soon as it is available.

The 18x24 Indominus Rex poster was on sale on Halloween weekend at Spooky Empire. You can check eBay to see if any are for sale.

Hey guys,

The official Tumblr account of Universal Pictures recently posted some Jurassic Word promotional art which revealed the DNA the Indominus Rex consists of! View the post here.

While many of these genes were suspected and confirmed, there were some that were surprising (like Theriznosauus DNA). This post also has a strangely mysterious tone that makes it feel like a Jurassic Park 5 tease (for example, the fact that human DNA may be behind the Indominus Rex's opposable thumb ability).

New Universal Studios Jurassic Park Attractions Coming!

Date: Sunday, November 22, 2015 - 2:10 (Eastern)
Author: DinoReviews101

Hey guys,

Twitter user Jurassic_World2018 (@Brycenator100) thankfully shared a screenshot of an wiki article posted on the Universal Studios Theme Park Fanon Wiki. This concerned the expansion to Universal's Islands of Adventure Orlando in 2017. Toon Lagoon is now being replaced with several other attractions, including some Jurassic Park themed attractions. A screenshot of the Jurassic Park themed attractions listed in the article is below. Check out the wiki page here.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

According to the article, 6 Jurassic Park attractions will be at Universal's Islands of Adventure Orlando (after the expansion), with two new attractions being added (Triceratops Discovery Trail: The Water Coaster, and Dino-Soarin', which is also available at Universal Studios Singapore Resort in The Lost World section). The source (Twitter user @Brycenator100) is currently at Universal's Islands of Adventure Orlando. His counselor at Camp Jurassic (a Jurassic Park-inspired camping attraction) reportedly mentioned an expansion to the park (and mentioned Jurassic Park and several other franchises). @Brycenator100 then proceeded to research this possible expansion, and sure enough, he found the wiki page detailing the new Jurassic Park attractions. This is surprising based on the success of Jurassic World. New Jurassic Park themed attractions have been hinted at for months. Note: This wiki article comes from a fanon wiki. Anyone can contribute. While it has been confirmed by an employee that there will be an expansion at IOA including new Jurassic Park themed attractions, this wiki article may be just be rumored attractions. It is possible that another person heard information from a park employee and posted it on the wikia.
